However it remains to be seen how much of Obama's speech will be undone by his AIPAC address and Netanyahu speech to U.S. Congress. Imbalance remains in U.S. policy - one speech for the Palestinians and two for Israel.

The border drama could also be manufactured so as to make Obama appear tough on Netanyahu, and supportive of the Palestinians.James Gundunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16141055666432969361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1571201204115952544.post-90409952808811016842011-05-20T02:15:49.286-07:002011-05-20T02:15:49.286-07:00I don't put any value on O's speeches at a...I don't put any value on O's speeches at all these days. Look at all the old ones which don't add up to a row of beans now. The 1967 borders ploy is a clever one, though. He knows it will never happen as much as Netanyahu and the settlers do. But he can play the card of 'abandoning' it when the AIPAC boys come knocking during his bid for the second term. He will get their votes by scrapping a proposal which he never meant to pursue in the first place.TONY @oakroydhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08304486783392151133noreply@blogger.com
